PANANIA: Base model - SLX4

Inspired by a late 90’s Japanese, compact, 2-door coupe, The Panania is certainly a very modern car that is both sleek and also bulky. Being very sporty, this car will likely undergo many changes to transform it into a racer. Coming in with a price tag at $27900, you may have to consider a second hand option rather than a brand new model, but on the other hand is also reliable.

The SLX4, being a 2.4L (2400cc) straight (inline) 4, releases 213Hp and 254Nm of torque. The engine is able to get off the mark fast and does a fair job in quickly getting the car up to its top speed of 199km/h. A rear wheel drive 4.70 ratio differential is connected to the 5 speed gearbox that has a shifting time of 0.4 seconds and a first gear ratio of 3.00.

A wide and low chassis, weighing in at 1258.7kg is kept on track with 28mm front sway bar and 18mm rear sway bar. Brake force on the rear is 600 and front is 1100 with 290mm disk brakes on all wheels. Although not very sporty, the steel rims are a good choice for the size of the body with the 245x20 sized steel rims and 245x40R20 street tires. The suspension does feel a bit loose at higher speeds and tends to slide off a bit.

This modern car can be transformed into something that can offer any car a challenge and with it being light, does help when modifying this vehicle.
